Who was the first to make a video game?

Like any new technology or field of activity, is still a bit 'confused about who was actually first. The technology, in particular, is a field where small incremental changes occurred and the field evolves. As for those who make the game we will first take a look at different stages of the first batch of games played on a CRT first mass produced arcade game
and, finally, the first console game that was sold to consumers. These three steps are important developments that brought video games where they are now.

First game ever and the first to be played on some form of a cathode ray tube, and use a type of computer, it is a missile simulator type game played on a circular screen that looked a lot like former radar used to screen during the Second World War. This game was created by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. and Estle Ray Mann in 1947. The creation of this game was important because it marks the beginning of a new era of cathode ray tube and can be used. Until then, a screen, as it was simply used as something to see. With this game, a player can watch and make changes to what happened on this. E 'was entertaining!

In 1952, what many consider to be the first game chart was created by ASDouglas and it was a tic-tac-toe game called OXO. Over the next two decades, between 1950 and 1960, a number of other rudimentary games started to make appearances with the use of mainframe computers that were based pipe. One of the most notable was the game Tennis for two, which was created by William Higinbotham in 1958. This game has been played on an oscilloscope screen.

Video games are becoming more sophisticated and take on more realism in the 60s and the first game to do that was a game called Space War. E 'was created for a computer from Digital Equipment Corporation, and was two ships (the players) engaged in a shootout on a starry background. One of the most important things about this game is that the ships were in a gravitational well which affected the way they moved and how the player was in their operation. This game has been recreated and copied to the arcade and home versions as multiple variations such as Asteroids and Galaxy Wars.

The first game released

The first game of the mass public was called Computer Space. It is based war game in space and it was a coin-operated arcade-style game created by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney. It was released in 1971. And in 1972 they released the arcade game Pong was a great success. These games were the beginnings of the company Atari.

Video Games Go to the home TV Set

The first video game console that could be played on a TV at home was the Magnavox Odyssey. It was designed by Ralph Baer and was released in 1972 and has met with limited success. In 1975, the revolution in video games for the home began with the release of Home version of Pong, Atari. Atari has landed an exclusive contract for 175,000 units, with Sears, who market and sell in their stores. The game was a great success for the 1975 holiday season. A little reflection on the revolutions of this game is that all the discrete wires is designed in a single chip that was the most advanced chip for consumer electronics ever made until then. This opened a whole new world of computer games.

Video games have been an interesting story, with so many different people contributing to their success. They have come a long way and there are probably many more interesting and exciting future developments.
