The video game industry is soon to undergo a profound change. A change that many believe is the for the best.
Currently, producers and publishers of video games usually sign what is called an exclusive agreement. What this means is the manufacturer of hardward games like Xbox, PS3, WII, etc has the exclusive rights to the publisher `s particular game.
However, this trend of exclusive contracts in May draws to a close. In the November issue of whether Electronic Gaming Monthly, Evan Van Zelfden said, "that the agreements between game publishers and hardware manufacturers, known as proprietary third party may have ceased in the future." Van Zelfden also explains that publishers and developers are ready to create computer games that can be used for different platforms, such as playing Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation and Xbox 360 exclusive licenses that provide a single platform. "
They have an exclusive license allows publishers to develop games for multiple platforms. Van Zelfden confirm "their games would have a larger market, if it is available in multi-platform."
It can be a bit 'before jumping across the industry on this train "However there are a couple of games on the road. The games that will launch soon in the cross-platform versions include Devil May Cry 4" and "Grand Theft Auto IV."
Keep an eye on this trend and games that will hit the market soon. Soon you will not need to buy the Xbox for a game and so on.
